The Master of Science in Neurodevelopmental Science supports the student with developing the application of sensorimotor reflex integration and neuromodulation with the target population of their choosing and the development and understanding of research and theory. The combination of these aspects allows the learner to gain a strong understand the how, why, when of the Masgutova Method. Furthermore, The Masgutova Graduate School of Neurodevelopmental Sciences develops advanced critical thinkers that acquire and execute research skills, and lifelong learners that apply their aptitude, talents and mastery to best practices.

1. Applicants must submit a completed application, the application fee, official transcripts from accredited colleges or universities previously attended, and any other documents based upon enrollment requirements by the application deadline.
2. A completed bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher.
3. International students also need to submit an official score report of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 80 for the computer-based assessment. Testing must be completed with a satisfactory grade within two year prior to acceptance into the program. Academic IELTS with an overall band score of 6 or higher is also acceptable in place of the TOEFL for post-traditional students pursuing graduate degrees.

Yes. The program is designed to meet the needs of the student.

Keep in mind this will take longer then the outlined two years to complete and graduate dates will vary depending upon the number of courses/ credits you take each semester.

The ability to transfer credits into The Masgutova Graduate School is possible but it is limited. For details regarding the policy, what can be transferred, and the process for getting transfer credit, visit the Admissions section of the Catalog and then navigate to the Transfer Credit to MGS section in the left navigation. 

The Occupational Therapists that are incorporating the Masgutova Method into their practice report that has helped them get to the root of the problem rather than provide a temporary "bandaid" for the issue, understand how the body was designed to work, recognize many "behaviors" observed are due to deficits in reflex integration - NOT a choice that was being made, has provided them with the confidence that they can treat issues that they would typically feel were outside my expertise area.

The Masgutova Method is explained by an Occupational Therapist as:

• the integration of sensory, motor, and brain processing systems that help the brain, body, and emotions work together in an organized way.
• the body's ability to understand and regulate the information coming in to the body and regulate the appropriate output
• The natrual progression of our body's coordination as nature intended

As a medical professional, the Masgutova Method teaches you specific reflexes and neurotactile techniques that help reduce the perception of pain. "We know that if pain can be reduced, that healing from injury/surgery/disease process will be enhanced. As a nurse, we also teach a lot of techniques of how to reduce stress whether thats guided imagery, breathing, exercising.... the Masgutova Method teaches tools that will help your patients better manage stress. Depending on where you work, there are specific targets that the Masgutova Method would benefit your patient care....." (R. LaVone).

The Masgutova Method is explained by a Nurse as:

Reflexes are seen in neonates as a means of protection and organizing of the body. These reflexes are automatic and genetically imprinted into each fetus, they do not disappear but are integrated into the whole body system serving as the foundational blocks for growth and development. There are many reasons why this system can be interrupted, but given the proper circuit, it can be restored to its original function.

Yes. Degree and non-degree seeking students are able to audit courses. Details for this process can be found in the catalog at Catalog>Admissions>Audit courses.

No. Many of our courses are available through the Audit process. This means you can take the course for no academic credit at a reduced cost. 

You will still need to meet the entrance requirements for the graduate school and any course prerequisites in place.

If you elect to Audit a class (no academic credit is earned) the cost is $500.00 per credit.

No. Tuition rates are regardless of residency.

No. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to offer financial aid.

Possibly. You should expect to travel to the campus in Orlando, FL. The nature of the hybrid program will require Externships to be completed in person.  The amount of travel will vary depending upon transfer credits, enrollment status, and how you select to complete your externship.

If you are an international student arrangements for externships to be completed at a center in Poland, Australia, or Europe may be possible. 

Externships can be taken out of the state of Florida in an approved setting.

Within the United States this may include a conference in California or Minnesota. Outside of the United States this may include a conference in Europe, Poland, or Australia. 

Other options may become available and can be discussed at that time.

Currently the school is licensed by the State of Florida and is working on completing the accreditation in the future.
