David holds a Bachelor and Master of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada. His graduate school research was conducted at Kyoto University in Kyoto Japan where upon graduating he joined Proctor & Gamble in Japan. While working he completed a Master of Business Administration at Warwick University, Coventry, United Kingdom.

In 2004 he immigrated to the US intent upon leaving his role in R&D to apply his MBA studies in P&G's marketing department. For those not familiar with the organization, this was to be a significant time and effort commitment change. At a later date, one of his twins, his son, was diagnosed with a disorder that became a bigger and more significant time and effort commitment change that eventually, in 2011, started him on a path to MNRI.

He became a US citizen in 2014. In 2018 he was licensed as a message therapist and retired from P&G 90 days later. In 2019, he became an MNRI Core Specialist. This background is shared to explain that what he does now as an MNRI Core Specialist has nothing to do with a career or business decision. If you ask, he will tell you that he does not work anymore and does not have a job, he is simply being obedient. He has been blessed with the opportunity to help his son navigate his way off of the spectrum and anyone else who asks for assistance to achieve a similar goal.
